This appeared to me as a fun item while browsing Amazon. I didn't very much need it neither was I looking for it. However, it looked intriguing and I gave it a go. Since buying it I am using it everyday. First, I was hesitant to keep it in microwave for more than a minute or two and the first sandwiches came a bit underdone. However, as I gained confidence, I started increasing the duration and the result got better and better. This is a cool invention! I purchased this for my daughter who is heading off to college in the Fall. She is living in the dorms but loves to cook and I thought this would be a fun way for her to make sandwiches. We tried it out this weekend and it works great! I have to admit, I was a little skeptical going in, but the sandwich was yummy, very hot all the way through (and we cooked it the shortest amount of time recommended in the directions) and it was very easy to make and clean. Works great making a sandwich it’s quick. It’s very easy to use and it’s nice and compact. Sometimes though depending on what you put on the bread, you can get soggy in the middle. I think it was worth the money.

Works OK- Cleaning can be a bit of a hassle. Heating plates are removable, but that is good and bad. Great for cleaning,but getting the plates in and out of the silicone cases can be a little frustrating and water seems to collect inside the silicone cases. I usually wash everything by hand, then let the cases air dry for a few days. The cases do not insulate the metal plates from the heat very well. They can get pretty hot when using. I like the grill marks you get on the cooked food. There is a learning curve on heating times for different foods. I will be experimenting to find best results

Love this and so easy to use! Now we buy a sub from Walmart and toast it right up. I loved it and so easy use that bought one for home , then work and also RV. Our friends loved it while camping and got one too. I find about 3 minutes perfect for toasting a sandwich perfectly and it’s easy to clean too. Can put in dishwasher or just hand clean. Haven’t tried a burger etc in it but tried hashbrowns, grilled cheese, eggs, sandwiches and all been perfectly toasted. You need play around a little for different microwaves but super yummy and easy to use.

Great in many way. Easy to use. Convenient. Just has one major flaw: is probably less than 1/2 an inch deep so impossible to make a sandwich that is more than paper thin.
