This is a very fun and interesting idea for a game night. One thing I like about these games is that they are focused on the investigation, puzzle-solving part. I mean, it's called Hunt a Killer, so whether or not you'd consider something like this "family-friendly" or "age-appropriate" is really a matter of opinion. My sister and I regularly tackle mysteries from Hunt A Killer, and this one was especially fun. The evidence included in this set was high quality and truly enhanced the overall experience. We especially enjoyed working through the materials together and piecing everything together as a team.Although we did need to go online to track down some additional evidence, we were able to quickly find what we needed to identify the killer. Love the hunt a killers, this one wasn’t my favorite and was a bit easier then some of the others but it was fun either way! Takes about an hour or two to finish depending on how good your group is at being a detective and how much wine has been consumed. Great to regift to friends since you can really only do it once!

Bought Dead on Deck as a gift for a friend who likes these games. She said they did enjoy it, but something called out in the hints or instructions (not sure, never played it) was not in the box - hence the 4 stars.

Bit hard for teenagers..but fun!

Fun murder mystery game. Lots of puzzles and clues to sift through and they are all relevant to the murder. If you can connect the clues you’ll make a wild discovery!This one is the best hunt a killer game I’ve done, much much better than Death at the Dive Bar and Murder at the Motel.

The instructions did not make it clear that you needed to go online for additional resources to solve the history. This was our second Hunt a Killer game, our first game we played had everything included in the box. It was really disappointing to get stuck after a couple hours of trying to solve the mystery, just to find out that we had to go online to access additional material which was not made it clear in the instructions.We thankfully were able to guess the answer without having to go online, but we were not able to use some of the main materials (like the map, or the bracelet) without be

It was fun going through all the documents and online information to find out who the killer was, but we spent SOOOOO much time trying to unlock the tin inside because the correct code didn't work. The locks 3rd number was incorrect and caused quite a bit of frustration. And, not that it's a huge deal, but the main character's name was spelled wrong for the text. Overall ot was decent, but the frustration of the lock being programmed with the wrong code soured my opinion of this game.
