I have read the book with my 12- and 9-year-olds. kids. My 12-y.o. read the book in one day, was really fascinated by the topics, asked questions, and did additional research on her own. My 9-y.o., who prefers comics, read only a few pages and said he would rather watch a video about the topic. I, a former physics teacher, love this book. This book explains complex content well, making it easier for younger readers to comprehend. Both teachers and students would really appreciate it. I would recommend it, especially for kids who like both reading and science.

Fantastic book for children as well as any parents not in the field of Quantum physics.Makes the complex simple.The book has outstanding graphics and each topic organized in a way to maintain interest and learning ability.Book also had a contact that can send you simple lab for demonstrating what was covered.This is definitely a book I wish I had when I was younger.

This is a good book for introducing some big Physics concepts. It is laid out well and would I think maintain interest for its readers. The one reservation I have is that the title might be better as impossible Physics for Teens as the vocabulary is way beyond the Kids I was picturing. My second grade grand daughter would give up after a page or two.

This is a great book! I like how it's formatted, and its brightly colored images draw you in and make it easier to understand! Physics fascinates me and this book feeds that fascination. It's broken up into easily digested sections but if I could keep reading if I had the time (even though it's a book written for kids 😁)! I highly recommend reading this book! 👍🏻

Fun book to use along with teaching.

A good introduction to quantum theory and relativity; the book makes these concepts accessible to high school students. The “reality check” at the end of each chapter divides concepts into “proven”, “established physics”, “possible”, “speculative”, and finally “science fiction.” I thought this was a great introduction to critical thinking. The explanation that laws of physics can be different for different scales from subatomic to the universe as a whole was well presented. Adults interested in science would enjoy this book as well.
