I'm very happy with this. Cooking rice works well in it, nice texture and flavor. Came with instructions in Japanese, I used the 'translate' app in my phone to read them. (basic care, some recipes) I use it on a gas stove. I get much better quality rice out of this than out of my Tiger rice cooker. Similar, or a little better than out of my (mid range) Zojirushi cooker too. Different, in a good way. Definitely better than what I've ever got out of a pot on the stove.
