JBL Flip 5 Bundle, White (Pack of 2)

I bought this 2pack because it made each speaker cheaper than buying 2 individually. Did I need 2? No. Did I need to buy 3 more JBL speakers after these two? No. Did I do all of this anyway? Absolutely.Important notes: These use PartyBoost, NOT Connect or Connect+, and will not connect to older speakers. At time of review, the only JBL speakers on PartyBoost are the Flip 5, Pulse 4, and Boombox 2.Given that these are intended to be portable, you can only expect so much from sound quality. Good quality, good sound, love the stereo ability. My only complaint is battery isn't replaceable. I had the Flip 4 and eventually the battery wouldn't charge any longer.

These JBL speakers are great! I've tried many other sets, and returned all of them because of poor quality sound. I'm relieved to have finally found a quality set for a decent price. These are just what I needed, to have music playing from my Spotify in multiple rooms of my house via Blutooth. With the JBL app, you can play your music in PARTY MODE (both speakers sound the same, to play in separate rooms) or STEREO MODE (for a surround sound experience, for a movie) AND you can play them individually. Been using JBL for years. The speakers connect so easy and the sound is amazing, highly recommend atleast a pair of them to get the deep, rich sound quality.

Although JBL clearly advertises the Flip 5 as capable of being paired for true stereo sound, actually doing so is astonishingly cumbersome.There are no instructions whatsoever in the box explaining how to create a stereo pair. Download the JBL app and, remarkably, there are no useful instructions there either. I finally had to call JBL support, and it took nearly 20 minutes just to determine the exact procedure.Pairing requires a convoluted sequence of button presses on both speakers, in the correct order, together with the app—which initially gives little indication of what you’re supposed to

Good travel speaker. No issues with connectivity. They are small, but are loud enough keep you entertained.
