Update: 10 months in and BOTH sides of the headband have now developed cracks. I’ve been extremely careful with these headphones — they’re primarily used at my desk and are hung up when not in use.Seeing both sides crack in the same location under normal use is pretty surprising for headphones in this price range. I’ve submitted a warranty claim since this occurred just under the one-year mark. They are going to replace them with a couple of big catches. 1. These are the most comfortable headphones I think i've ever owned, as someone who's had airpods, airpod maxes, bose headphones, skullcandys, etc. My head is really small so everything hurts—except for these. Bigger and more comfortable ear cups than Sony I tried. Sadly still too much pressure above the ear. While bigger, cup still touched upper portion of my ear. Cushioning was at least deep enough for short periods of wearing glasses, but overall I ended up with pain spots after about 4 hours.USB controller like device seems kind of niche. Could possibly be useful when switching between devices as just have to plug it in from one to the next and it allows for making a wired connection somewhat wireless (like on a plane). Love this headset! The sound is great. I love the ability to connect thru usb. I have issues with a neighbor that constantly interferes with any Bluetooth devices he can. The option of a wired connection between my iPhone and these headset is exactly the solution I was looking for. Noise cancellation works really well. The padding in the ear cups is very soft and comfortable but can make my ears sweat a bit but it’s not a deal breaker. I bought these after seeing SoundGuys' stellar review regarding the ANC performance, and seeieng they were on sale for $179.95, I figured, "why not?"Nah. The ANC is extremely lackluster compared to even Bose's mid tier offerings, and to top it off, the ANC mics in the right ear were malfunctioning and gave off a lot of feedback, like the sound of my ear slightly nudging the inside of the ear cup was being amplified just for simply slightly moving my head. Incredibly annoying, not worth it even on sale.
