We have used a wide assortment of knives in our kitchen and I feel I am constantly on the lookout for decent knives to replace those that have broken handles or just too worn to use. The blade tang runs the full length of the handle, is solidly capped, and the handles are well riveted to the blade. These are nice knives. I wish I would have gone with something that mounted inside of a cabinet. The base is pretty stable. The knives are sharp but they're fairly lightweight. I'm honestly still looking for another set. I kept these but I don't love them.
