We absolutely love our LG StanbyME 2! It’s one of those products we weren’t sure how much we’d use, but now we use it almost every day. We love watching TV shows and movies on it, and it’s become a favorite for entertaining too. We’ve used it to display menus and drink lists at parties, and it’s so easy to move wherever we need it thanks to the built-in wheels. The magnetic remote is a small feature that makes a huge difference because it’s always right where you left it. I owned a StandbyMe Go. I loved the concept - a portable TV that you can take anywhere - but the picture quality was somewhat washed out, and the weight was insane (28 pounds!). This was a Christmas gift to my husband. He loves it and uses it almost every day - sometimes to watch sports while we watch our show together, sometimes to have a second game on. The kids love it too. We love being able to move it around the house, it fits right in and we could tuck it away in a closet if we needed. It looks nice sitting in the living room and isn’t an eyesore. The functionality is good and everything works as expected. The kids have already used it to play some games. The sound quality is fine. I love this so much but there’s also a major design flaw: you cannot charge the monitor when it’s off the stand. So, when using as a desktop monitor, you can only use it 4 hours without recharging.

This is quite possibly the most convenient and awesome tv I have purchased. Between being wireless, having a touch screen, the option to remove it from the stand and place it on a counter top, it’s amazing.

It stopped charging with the stand attached in about a week or so as shown as photos. It charges with the side port of the monitor, but it doesn't still show the charging status with the illuminated light. My family liked it in the beginning, but now it is a liability that we don't know when it will stop charging entirely and the stand is just a stand at this point. LG service center and Amazon service center wanted to help, but their strict policy to return it with original packaging is basically stopping point for me because I threw them away because I'm an idiot and didn't think that $900 t
