This LG monitor is huge - big enough to have several things open at once and still be able to see what I'm doing. The picture quality is great. I had to use my own HDMI cord because my 6-year-old laptop didn't have the video port for the cord that came with the monitor, but I had one in my stash. Had a bit of an issue with my wireless mouse/keyboard fob, so shielded cord would be ideal. I just moved the mouse dongle to the other side of the laptop and it seemed to solve the problem. So far I'm really happy with this purchase.

Use the monitor for gaming and the picture quality is absolutely beautiful. The big screen size is also great for working with multiple documents and websites. The stand is solid and keeps the monitor stable. Monitor can also be put on a swivel stand, but is heavy so be careful. Very happy with this monitor!

This monitor looks great but man did I have issues with it. I could not get it to work on the correct resolution with the HDMI, it would either start out black or it would turn black when I switched to the correct resolution. The LG support was not able to help me over the phone so they sent me a huge, wrong sized box to mail it to the service center. I didn’t want to deal with that and luckily it works fine with display port. Honestly I'm very disappointed with this monitor and the protection plan I purchased alongside it. The protection plan refuses to refund or repair my monitor even though they claim it is within my plan. The monitor itself didn't last very long either even though it cost so much. I will say for the small period it worked, it was very pretty and it's a large screen with a nice curve. Amazing monitor for the price, however the one thing that can be annoying is the amount of glare. In a bright room while playing a dark game it can be very difficult to make out specific things. Other than that highly recommend.
