LG 49BQ95C-W 49" Monitor, TILT Height Swivel, White

Don't mess around with used monitors. I wont go into details of multiple attempts. In the end, I finally gave up paid full price for a new monitor and am now happy.Oh yeah! The monitor is wonderful.

I’ve had this monitor for a long time and took my time using it for a while before writing my review, and I’m very happy with it! The size alone makes it stand out more than other monitors because its like a tv (which I find myself using it for that a lot if the time). The picture looks great enough for gaming, streaming and watching movies on it. The stand is sturdy and easy to adjust which is the most important factor because this thing is huge. Overall, not bad. It does this weird thing after a little bit of time where the screen starts to dim. That gets annoying. Beyond that it's great. I get so much space on this monitor! Like 3 monitors in one!

Tl;dr of this review: absolute unit of a monitor, fantastic SDR output, picture-by-picture/picture-in-picture modes are good, but lose HDR and some framerate, HDR itself is weak, built-in KVM is a fantastic feature, other standard features are there, VRR is fine.Now this is an interesting monitor. I used an Asus VG248QE before this one, and got absolutely tired of how awful its color reproduction was, and couldn't believe it when I saw a monitor like this on Amazon Vine. This monitor is beautiful, fast, so wide and makes me very happy. I use it for my D&D room as both a DM screen and a source for all my documents. I can split 4 different screens with web pages, PDF's, spreadsheets and more. I love the multiple inputs so I can switch between different devices.The stand has a sliding height that stays where you put it without needing to screw anything down. The tilt is fine and it's easy to move around despite it's weight.

I have used this monitor for a couple months and have had a great experience with is so far. The only downside is that my laptop doesn't support the maximum resolution so I don't get to take advantage of the 5K feature. Wow this monitor is wide, i was on a 21:9 before and this being a 32:9 is just crazy. Especially when it comes to games you see so much more. On call of duty i can see just about anything. Daily task wise you can fit alot on the screen with no issues. Colors look great and the resolution is fine too, almost wish it was 4k but can't really tell.
