Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 Motherboard (AM4/4xDDR4/HDMI/DVI-D/USB 3.2/M.2)

When I first started my PC with this MB, I was concerned, because it was slow to bring up anything. I restarted and loaded optimized settings in the bios and it began to load faster. Now it loads very well.The sound is very good quality and so is the video. My only complaint are that two of the four SATA connections are facing the front for some strange reason.I use my PC of normal usage, but I am a power user with two monitors. So having two monitor connections is a must for me.

Installing this into my case, and then installing the CPU was quick and easy.I do wish it had another PCI port or 2, but it supports 2 NVMe drives, which was my main draw to it.When booting, it takes a few minutes to get past POST and start booting from the drives. Even when enabling fast boot, it doesn't seem to speed the process up much. There is another option that implies to be even faster than "fast boot" but I haven't had a chance to test that yet.I've always seen Gigabyte boards held in high regard and it's been my experience that they're good quality and solid motherboards. I chose this motherboard for the support it provides. It allowed me to run my water cooler fans and light from the motherboard.; Wanted to build my wife a PC capable of running Windows 11, we added an AMD Ryzen 5 processor and wham it fired right up. The support provided by the manufacturer was more than capable of making the PC into what we wanted. While its not a speed demon, it works perfectly especially with the dual NVM drives, I increased the speed off the PC boot by switching NVM drive. Low lag and ease of use are the key to making the PC fast.

Excellent motherboard, was easy to install, and was able to flash the bios without turning it on. Was a great board to get on windows 11 and still reuse other components from my old setup.

This is a great motherboard. I got it for like a hundred bucks or so? Running a 512 SSD 32 GB RAM a Ryzen 5 5500 and an rtx 2060 and put a 4tb HHD in and I play video games like Monster Hunter Wilds, RuneScape Dragon Wilds, Diablo 2 4 and Path of Exile 1 and 2.

motherboard is dead after 2 months

Trabaja muy bien hasta ahora, rev 1.3 ,reconoció el ryzen 5600 sin problema.Lo unico que podria mejorar es uno o dos puertos USB mas.
