Recently upgraded to this monitor for gaming and the picture is amazing. I did have to adjust the brightness as I found it a bit too dark with factory settings. Using the display port and so far zero issues. Highly recommend.
For starters, the Acer brand has never let me down as far as quality and performance goes. I have a Acer CB242Y as my secondary monitor that has lasted for YEARS and still performs like new. I also tried their XFA 23.8” model that was great as well but I recently upgraded GPUs so I have 2K gaming capability now and decided to stay within the brand family and give this model a shot. Monitor is great, I believe I purchased it on discount so got a nice deal. This is the nicest monitor I've owned so far and I can tell the difference. For reference my old monitor was capped at 60hz.
I purchased the 240hz version of this monitor for $230 during a Black Friday sale. Upon setting up the monitor, I immediately noticed a large amount of backlight bleed in the bottom-left and bottom-right corner of the display. Upon comparing this IPS display to 3 VA displays in my possession (2 Dells, 1 HP), I can safely say that none of the VA displays have this issue (at least no where close to this extent).I contacted an Amazon customer support agent who told me that a UPS delivery driver would be by to replace the defective monitor, and that I would receive a confirmation email containing

Beautiful picture, great stand, comes with both display port and HDMI cables and a proper plug with ground connection. The blacks are deep and the colors are vivid. A little bright out of the box, but easily configured. There's a tiny amount of backlight bleed in one corner, but it's barely noticable and doesn't impact my usage.I'm loving the fact that the stand is adjustable in height, tilts, and rotates. Just got it today, but I'm very happy with the product.
The monitor looks nice and performs well. The viewing angles are good and it was bright enough for my son's room. We didn't have any trouble utilizing the high refresh rate features when connecting to his laptop. Unfortunately our unit had a couple stuck pixels and some excessive light bleed from one of the backlight LEDs. Maybe we just got a bad unit. Would love to have kept it if it weren't for those issues.
A great 2k monitor for the price point. It has HDR and a higher refresh rate than you'd expect for something at this price. I'd definitely recommend for a great viewing experience.
