Update July 2025: MSI responded to my 2nd RMA and they sent me a brand new, better MoBo, and it is working great since.This is the motherboard to get; it is relatively affordable, easy to install, good quality overall, and it fits several sizes of cases.Old review: I bought this in December 2024, and it was working okay, but it didn't recognize the 4 TB M.2 SSD in its second M.2 bay. Normally I would just go with the cheapest components I could find, but this is now the 4th pc I've built with an MSI motherboard, and I am now a loyal customer. Every mobo I've purchased from MSI is still going strong and is faster booting and more reliable than others I've used. Flashing bios is easy and I like the bios menu features and ease of use. So far, I've only built pcs for gaming, and MSI has not let me down with what I need. This new one has wifi built in, which is very nice. I know that i don’t need this kind of a motherboard for my build, but it’s great having one, honestly, the ports on the back are amazing and the fan and rgb connectors are spread out nice. The IO shield while putting it in was scary but it didn’t take me longer than 30 seconds so I can’t call it hard. The WiFi has gone in and out sometimes, not sure if it is the motherboard 100% though. Great option for upgradability in the future as of today when I’m writing this.

This Motherboard has met every one of my needs. I was looking for something that would pair well with my Ryzen 7 7800x3D and I've had zero issues. The install was intuitive and I had zero issues with the delivery. It's been 8 months and I'm still happy with the purchase.

So, I bit the bullet and decided to go high end on everything. MSI has released 33 bios updates for this motherboard for a reason. Unfortunately that's not where the problem lies initially, as the issue with the no boot on installation of RAM is caused by Memory Context Restore not being enabled by default. Do so and you'll get consistent boots.

Both this for my girlfriend’s PC I just built for her. First time I’ve used an MSI board in a while and it was great. Really easy to install, and it has a Clear CMOS and Flash BIOS button built in which is convenient. Integrated well with all her components and is very fast. Would buy again.
