Okay so there's a lot of controversy around this card for it's price point, and that's a valid response to Nvidia's pricing in the current GPU landscape. Dropping this card down $50 at the very least would make sense. However this is the market right now and if you're building a new rig, this card starts to make sense. Very impressed with this card. I chose this one because it struck that nice balance between overall performance, VRAM, and price point (bought it at MSRP). My last card was a 3070, for which I way overpaid during COVID, and this is a definite step up. I play First Person Shooters and Flight Sims and this card has been working great for both, well over 100+ FPS and stable with VR, using a Meta Quest 2 and Steam VR as a pass through.I was able to use this in an ITX case, so an mATX or ATX case should have plenty of room. I put together a high end system for my dad to do video editing, AMD 7950 128gb DDR5 & discrete Sound I ran a few benches and it did as expected. I run cooling at 100% and these fans do a pretty good job without too much noise. I should say I am running a total of 17 fans & even though all but the water and power and video are noctua 1700rpm and variable 3000 in the rear running about half speed. This was the final piece to my near full PC rebuild, and it was a dramatic increase from my previous GTX 1060 6GB.
