My son's graphics card failed. This was the only graphics card in his price range. Works perfect. Plug and play as described. Has been installed for 3 years ans still working g perfectly. Recommend to anyone for a budget graphics card.

Great entry level/budget GPU. The 3050 6GB version only uses 70 watts, which is within what the PCI slot itself can provide, so no 6 or 8 pin connectors from the power supply are necessary. After hours of research, I finally came upon THIS specific model of card.The power draw from this card is low enough that my 290W PSU can handle it with ease.This thing also happens to draw power ONLY from the motherboard slot, which is perfect for me since my PSU doesn't have any cables to supply power.The performance, while not on par with others in its generation, is a massive upgrade from integrated graphics, and should do nicely enough for 1080p gaming at acceptable framerates.Is it a good card?
