Excellent all around motherboard, quality VRM's and ability to tighten timings on ram very well.
Had this motherboard for 7 months now with zero issues, I love this thing and it's really powering my i9 14900f well compared to my b760 board I had before that would heat the VRM's up to 90C under torture tests, with this msi z790-a board the VRM's don't go above 52C which is fantastic, I highly recommend this board, it's also been good for memory training tightening up the timings on my ram. Undervolting isn't a thing as much since intel released microcode preventing people from setting an offset with the intention of not triggering IA-CEP from having mismatched vcore and vid voltages. Finally a board without the stupid corsair bios crap. Every used MB I have had experience with has been a corsair prebuild motherboard, meaning I have to use their website to update bios and have been known to have issues. Got this one brand new and starts up perfectly fine with same ssd same CPU everything and the last board would start and keep resetting. Damaged out of the box
Recevied this motherboard about 70 days ago. Took it out of the box to build today. When the CPU cover was removed, the CPU receiving pins on th emotherborad severly damages in severly places and it some appear to be mssing. Never seen anything like it and have built over 15 PC in the last 3 years.

good MB just needs extra work with software install.
So far it is a good MB. Had to load drivers after the operating system was installed with out going on line with MS. Once installed was able to then use the txt files to install drivers and finish the updates and driver installation. Since then rule operating system is more stable than before with a ROG MB.

It has pretty much all the features of a really high end board. If you are looking to put together a computer or just want an upgrade I highly recommend this MB.
