I LOVE this cooker. I didn’t even know when I ordered it that it could also steam and be used as a slow cooker. I’m definitely going to try the slow cooker setting this weekend. There’s a specific dish I like that my kids don’t like so this is a good size to make enough just for myself instead of getting out the big crockpot. I’ve only used it once so far because I just got it. I made a rice mixture that contains brown rice, quinoa, and lentils. It came out perfectly. I put in the brown rice, the quinoa, the lentils, water, chicken, bouillon, and seasonings that I like. I cooked it on the brow

Excellent rice cooker. Easy to use and perfect rice every time. Quick clean up because of nonstick surface. Because this cooker does not have a digital timer on the pot to let you know how much time is left in the cooking cycle, just set a cooking timer based on the instruction booklet (if cooking 1 cup of rice, it should take 28 minutes). This cooker does have a beeping signal to let you know when the cooking cycle is done, and it automatically goes to keep warm setting. This is a well made product.

This is just what I needed! It makes perfect rice and is very easy to use. It took a few extra minutes to cook compared to cooking the rice on the stovetop, but the warming feature keeps the rice from getting cold while the rest of the meal is cooking. Its compact size is great and stores easily when not in use. I recommend this rice cooker.

I have been using this for several months now and have cooked primarily brown rice and coconut rice in this. These do best when you let them soak for 20 minutes before turning it on. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the steamer basket. Not sure why they would make the steamer basket plastic. I did break down and use it once - it worked well on sliced carrots while my quinoa was cooking, but the carrots completely stained the basket making me realize that this was not a safe material to use.

I bought this to make steel cut oats in. Add 1 cup of oats, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, add water up to the 3 line, set it on the porridge/oats setting and in 70 minutes, it's done and turns itself to the Warm setting. I let it set another 10 minutes, open it and stir and in a few minutes the rest of the water absorbs and you have PERFECT Steel-cut oats! Nothing sticks to the pot. SO EASY! I LOVE this Narcissus Rice Cooker!

It lasted 2 months. I purchased this because rice is cooked daily at my house, and I needed a rice cooker that was compact and looked nice out on my countertop 24/7. This little cooker looked great but we had to make sure the rice was rinsed well and that we never put more than 2 cups of rice in at a time or it would bubble over while cooking. Even then my counter was still constantly catching oozing dribbles.One day it just quit right after the power button was pushed to start cooking.I took it apart to see if moisture had short circuited, but that wasn't the case. I’ve had this model for over a year and I use it most days. It’s easy to clean and it’s fun trying new recipes. It’s reliable, versatile and convenient. I bought one for my daughter also.

I absolutely love this rice cooker! And l was surprised to learn it cooks more than rice so it’s a bonus in my opinion. I use this at least twice a week for multiple meals. So glad, l finally made this purchase. I highly recommend it! Easy to clean also.
