My son bought one of these and I borrowed it so often that I had to buy myself one. The zoom is incredible, the pictures are great. The camera works great every time with easy use. I have taken tens of thousands of pictures out on rough terrain, hiking for a geology project. The camera has been amazing. Came with battery AND a charger! WiFi photo upload works good, a bit slow so if you download a lot of photos at once and want them right away I’d say do it through SD adapter transfer. The camera came basically new, no scratches or damage that I can tell. Photo quality is really great, on camera they look decent but downloaded they are amazing and crisp! Only had the camera for a little bit but I love it! Delivery was great and fast, camera was wrapped securely.

UPDATE: Originally given 4 stars, this little gem worked flawlessly for 3 months. Ten days ago it lost the ability to focus. Hunts and hunts and hunts, and then says it is focused when still so blurred you can't recognize the scene. With some playing around you can get it to focus in middle ranges of the zoom, but for quick point and shoot this thing is worthless.I got it at what must have been an introductory price from Amazon or something, not this $196, so I don't consider it worth the hassle of returning it or sending it to Nikon for repair. So far, this camera has worked out well. I like the small size of the camera-it really is able to fit in your pocket. I took it on a trip with me and I wanted to be able to take pics quickly, without fuss, that wouldn't be terrible. (I'm not a fan of cell phone pictures, they are usually grainy or blue tinted). Bought this camera mostly for outdoor stuff, birds, flowers… I give the camera a 4 or 5. Nice size, good zoom, menus OK. The Nikon software that is described in the owners manual is non-existent. The wifi networking and the editing software have not been updated to conform to new iOS standards and can not be installed on an iphone. You can work around the file transfer using AIrDrop instead of wifi to get pics to the iPhone from your computer after using a card reader to get them into the computer, a round about pain.
