I bought this Philips HDMI 4 in/1 out switch to replace a 5 input HDMI switch I had that was very sluggish and sometimes not change inputs at all when I selected them. This Philips unit is MUCH faster, usually taking only 1 - 2 seconds to make a positive change when so ordered. There is no quick way to power off this unit so I ordered a USB power cord with a rocker on-off switch so that I can manually turn it off when I'm done for the day. I tried a couple of the cheaper HDMI splitters on Amazon and they all had moments where they cut out occasionally so I decided to buy one that was a little bit more costly and I wasn't disappointed (mostly). I used this to switch between my XBSX and PS5 and there is no noticeable input lag. It's a little bit finicky with display however, upon starting the PS5 it will occasionally put out no image. Switching the inputs back and forth doesn't work but restarting the PS5 seems to fix the issue. The remote is a little slow to change the inputs but it works most of the time and it's not a huge deal

Been using for many months, had it full of different cables and devices. I do not use the heaviest of 2.x hdmi hdcp braid cables (longer runs) but with standard 4k/8k cables it has lasted where others have not. Bought with extended warranty, affordable. Love this.* update, did finally short out regularly then failed. Went back to amazon for warranty i bought with it. I do not know what to use for an hdmi switch yet. I have not had one last.

Easy to install, BUT, my Fire Stick won't work at all with it. The Fire Stick works fine when its plugged directly into the TV but won't work at all plugged into the switch. The ChromeCast device will work but ONLY when its in Input 2. I chose this one because of the one input connection on the front and the three on the back. But not being able to have both a FireStick and a ChromeCast device plugged in and working :-(

This Philips HDMI switch allows me to switch between a streaming device, blu-ray player, and a Mac Mini M2 on my Sony Bravia TV set. Thankfully this switch does have HDCP passthrough so that the Mac Mini thinks it's connected directly to the TV set.
