Update! After extreme use at my local non-profit my drill chuck was locking up on small bits. Asked for a replacement chuck, they sent me a new drill. They really stand behind their products.The original box was torn open like a shark bite to the side. Replaced without a question. One of the batteries would not take a full charge, had a replacement in 4 days. Not heavyweight tools like my old Porter-Cable 14.4V 1/2” hammer drill, but all that I will need in my projects and lighter in weight than my borrowed friends contractor grade tools. Purchased the tool set for $275 from amazon.com. Needed to upgrade my older Dewalt 14.4 V set. Very happy with purchase. Have increased my cutting power. The 5 1/2 inch Circular saw cuts like a dream. Plenty of power and good battery life. Also like the charge indicator included on the batteries themselves. The drill and impact driver have plenty of torque as well. Drive all types of screws with ease. Overall a solid purchase Being a homeowner and DIY or this set is ideal. Porter cable makes an excellent product. I hope to have these tools for another 20 years.

Needed a lightweight battery set for a second home. This fits the bill. The tools work really well (I have had a porter cable drill and driver for years from another set) and I am impressed with the selection. Recently put in a kitchen using just these. Worth it.

I invested in Porter Cable 20 Volt cordless tools back when they first became available. They were great tools, surviving the use and abuse dished out on job sites – dropped off ladders, left out in the rain, “borrowed” by other tradesman who were less than careful with somebody else’s tools. I've used, although not a lot yet, all the parts of this kit excluding the USB charging device and I am more than pleased with the performance of everything. I'm not a contractor or professional, but I'm experienced with the use of tools, and have other cordless and corded tools just like these. I'd call myself and advanced amateur/DIY person - I bought these as I started the renovation of my hundred year old home.1. I have always loved Porter Cable tools. I used them when I first started in construction, but the companies I have worked for used all the other major brands. But at my house, I love using P.C.. All the cordless tools work great. The batteries run for a very long time. The various types of cordless tools is very sufficient. The only critique I have is for the drill. I'm not 100% sure that the housing/handle for the drill will last. Given the amount of torque the drill produces the handle seems slightly flimsy/weak, but with that said I have not broken it.
