This is my second Black & Decker Matrix drill set. I have been using the Matrix system for more than a year now and love it. So when I needed a second drill for a weekend home, I didn't hesitate to pick up another Matrix set.The system itself works great for DIY projects. Came with a dead battery (would not take a charge) but Amazon support helped get me a replacement battery right away. Every tool still worked exactly as it should. I use this thing every weekend and even got a few more attachments for it like the reciprocating saw and mini circular saw and couldn't be happier. maybe consider ordering 1 or 2 extra batteries too because this is the all in one power tool and a single battery doesn't always make it all the way through my projects.

Matrix Tools have been Excellent for me. I'm not a professional, but I use Matrix tools for a lot of home repairs/remodeling. I wanted to buy DeWalt, but could not afford them, and now I'm glad. These Matrix attachments all have worked for several years with ZERO breakdowns. All attachments work well, but the reciprocating saw, impact driver, small circular saw, and small hedge trimmer have been especially good tools that work better than I expected. So I do apartment maintenance for three communities and I use all these essential tool on a regular basis. Recently I had several of my power tools stolen so I went ahead and purchased this set for its versatility. I will say that this will not perform like your top brand power tools but this kit will absolutely help with GETTING THE JOB DONE. The jigsaw does work but it cuts really slow. But it does work. When I say abuse, I mean, I would run it continuously for hours, battery after battery (I have 4 * 2HA and 2 * 4AH), refinishing stairs.
