I ordered this with the metal frame. It is very minimalistic (which I like), easy to move around, and very sturdy. The metal frame has quite a bit more weight to it than the plastic frame, which helps it keep from moving around, and keeps me from feeling like I'm going to break it. The keys are actually quite loud, so this may or may not dissuade you depending on if you like loud keys. Syncing this up with Razer Synapse is fun and lets you set lighting schemes as well as gaming key macros, etc. For the money, I highly recommend this keyboard.

I bought this version of BlackWidow (clicky-metal, full backlight) because it's 70 dollars less than the Chroma, but only in green rather than rainbow. I have had zero issue with the keyboard, love the sound and feel, the only thing that sucks on it is the space bar feels very cheap compared to the rest of the keys -- it needs more support to give it a steadier feel like the other keys. It has a very heavy weight which is desirable and I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone, gamer or not.This is the best keyboard you can get for relatively cheap.

Spectacular, the new Razer Mechanical keys are. I have been using a BlackWidow Chroma since the release and fell in love with their keys straight away. It's the absolute best for any and all gaming as well as typing, my WPM has never been higher than with these beauties and I really enjoy the clicky, it keeps people out of the room so they don't bother me and gives me a sense of well being just to hear it churning away as I work. Kinda loud, but thats what the "clicky" means. Quality construction and good backlighting. RGB is fine, but I like the green, less distracting. Overall, just what I wanted.

Love this keyboard! I don't condone murder but this keyboard could do just that if you smacked someone in the face with it and you'd probably get an audible click as it connected. Also it will destroy anything you throw it at while you're raging.

The best thing about this keyboard is that it lights up. I've been wanting to purchase a backlit keyboard for quite some time, so this does fit the bill. Razer Synapse allows you to control what keys and how the keys light up with a ton of different options and brightness levels. You can change between your different settings rather easily, with specific hotkeys.
