Very good price of $400 for a very good OLED monitor. At first I was worried this would be a bad financial decision because of how flimsy and lightweight the monitor felt out of the box. But after using it for several days, I determined that the display quality exceeded my expectations. Even though the structure of the monitor felt light and flimsy, it is still plenty durable. It’s a beautiful screen si far. I can’t speak on longevity as I have only had it for a week now, but so far so good. I bought it to use with my ps5 and older gaming pc and it works great. The colors are beautiful and the size is perfect for my setup. I got it for $399. Given the specs it was the best deal at the time. I did a little of research on different monitors and for similar specs I was already at $600 and up.

Picked up this OLED during the July 4th sales to see if it was truly worth it or just a fad. The panel is fantastic—rich, vibrant, and buttery smooth. The stand is sturdy with height adjustment, plus basic tilt and rotation. It’s stunning for strolling around Skyrim, from majestic mountains to glowing auroras at night. No glare issues so far, though I’ve been using it in a dim room. Definitely grab it on discount; a VA panel can’t compare (if you haven’t tried OLED, you don’t know what you’re missing), but at full price you could snag three 1440p monitors or an entry-level OLED with $200 left

it's the real deal, great quality and performance. and of course very easy to setup.though it took me some time to adjust my eyes to a brighter and more vibrant screen 😅

I purchased this monitor as a secondary monitor and I wanted a 27” for shooters/daily work.I have an LG 32” 4k monitor that was $1000. This g61SH is freakin impressive. I had a Samsung G7 in the past and its image is comparable but with obviously all of the OLED goodies.When on, both the LG32 and G61 portray the same rich blacks. I cannot discern a difference. Gamma and brightness, comparable but the G61 does look blown out..can be fixed with tweaking. The LG shines in color accuracy, but the whites are more magenta. At first I thought it was a terrible display, factory settings are not good. Compared to my LCD, I was horrified.After tuning it and activating HDR in windows, that was completely reversed, now I love it. So just make sure you do that yourself.

For reference, I have a sony oled tv, and an lg lcd gaming monitor so I familiar with the pros and cons of each technology. This samsung model is a terrible buy for a number of reasons. To start, QD-oled and a matte screen is not a good combination. Those deep blacks that oled is known for will look purple or magenta with any amount of ambient light, even light coming from the screen itself. Second, the tint fringing is unbearable.
