Samsung 40” Odyssey G7 (G75F) Series WUHD Curved Gaming Monitor

I am very happy with the purchase and it's worth the money when it's well under a thousand. I wanted something bigger and higher res for playing games on plus general internet and streaming. This does that great. The color isn't as accurate as on my previous LG IPS monitor, but sitting side by side I can get it fairly close. Plenty good for gaming and movies. I use the included display port cable and have not seen any flickering on an AMD gpu and Linux. You will need a beefy video card to push this many pixels in games.Picture is not great out of the box. Fantastic image quality. Great packaging to ensure the monitor was not damaged in transit. Easy to setup. Easy to activate. Once one gets used to the curve, it's a great upgrade for the price! Not one dead or stuck pixel (out of 11 million pixels at 5120 X 2160 resolution. Note, a good video card really helps (16GB is best which I'm using) to get the most out this monitor. Also, the curved shape looks daunting at first, but once one gets used to it (it looks great straight on) it is a great upgrade for anyone looking for large workspace, quailty videos or an immersive gaming experience.

I had been looking for a new monitor for awhile and had been researching for a new one. I decided I wanted a high quality display, but burn in was a fear I was having for alot of the new OLED monitors since I do a good amount of office work/internet browsing in addition to some gaming. I love it! One warning if you are use to seeing your entire screen and aren’t afraid to have to either move it around or stand up make sure you want to see everything, I mean everything! This is the best screen I ever had but it’s much better without the arm crane thing! The base is strong and heavy I recommend having someone help you get it out of the box, Amazing value for my money, The screen and screen savers are beautiful, Easy to connect, Size huge, easy Connectivity, I may not know the exact words Just buy it you know you want it!!

Decent monitor and not badly priced. Has some key flaws though.I can't rate it 5 stars because like others my unit has 1-2 seconds of black screen randomly even with 8K rated HDMI cables driven by a 4090. This happens a few times a day even with latest drivers and updates to the computer.I use for productivity 70% to games and movies 30%. So far I am really loving this monitor. I use it for video games and productivity and It excels at both. The deep curve seems to help my eye strain a lot. It my have a few flaws, but for the money when it is on sale, it is definitely worth buying. The colors and contrast aren't as good as my alienware monitor though. It has all the normal ports and also has a USB hub built in. The stand it comes with is well built with lots of adjustments such as height, left/right swivel.

This is an absolutely outstanding monitor. Just to be clear, I am not a gamer, I am using this for work productivity. I previously purchased the 34 inch model, and depending on how comfortable you are with having windows overlap, that may be all you need. If you want just a little bit more space this is the way to go. This monitor is great !! The gaming resolution is very high and the curved, line of site keeps you in the action. Easy to setup, but beware, the ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are NO built in speakers. There is a jack, so you can hook up external speakers, but not much of a problem because I use headsets anyway. You can't go wrong, great monitor for the price. I highly recommend this monitor to any gamer interested in upping their gamming experience.
