How do I feel about these? I gave them a 5 star because they do the job well. The ANC is pretty absolute. While I haven't traveled with them yet, so far it blocks out all ambient noise. I got these because the noise level of my house is so high that it raises my anxiety and stress levels. Between eight different fish tanks that are running, as well as fridge and freezer. If you are considering moving from skullcandy, the difference in sound quality is negligible to me personally.Everything sounds great after messing with the equalizer/presets, but not these nor Sennheiser get close to the BOOM you get with skullcandy. Out the box they sound quite lifeless and while tweaking the equilizer can achieve a very good quality of sound for what you specifically want to listen to, it is not possible to get them to sound good as an all-rounder like say Bose and Beats have managed to do with their products.
