STERILITE 10459004 Touch Can, Black, 13 Gallon

It's a good trash can but at times the lid doesn't want to stay shut. I use it for my recycle bin. But it's still ok.

DO NOT BUY!!!This is the single worst product I've ever bought from Amazon. The doesn't open with the button, and the the cheap piece of metal they call the "spring" broke the very forat time I put a bag on it.Tried to get a refund and since its a "3rd party seller" I was told needed to print my label, and box it to return junk.After speaking with Amazon customer service, I had to ask for a supervisor. For a trash can!Eventually I spoke to a very nice representative and got a refund. They didn't even want me to send it back (which is great), she said just throw it away and issued a refund. STA

Sturdy and durable

The mechanism that keeps the top closed sometimes malfunctions if there is something too tall in the trash and it interferes with the mechanism. Also, the size trash bags it takes are sometimes hard to put on it take some doing to get them on.

Worked fine, but the release handle was half missing. Just molded wrong and assembled wrong anyway. I got annoyed looking at it, put it in the dumpster, and got something else.

It’s exactly what I needed but my plans changed. My grandson is able to use it. It’s perfect for the room he’s putting it in.
