Pretty good. After all it's a trash can so I'm not expecting it to make all my dreams come true. This is replacing something similar from an off-brand. Even that one was OK. I believe it failed due to my own negligence by leaving it out in the dangerously hot Arizona sun. We're just using it as a staging place for the recyclables before they go into the city can. Sturdy and well built

As others have said the latch doesn't work to open a lid. I'm trying to figure out if it can be adjusted so that the latch actually works to open the lid. I'm sure it can be but I just haven't done it yet. Other than that it feels like a durable trash can. Holds more than I thought it would. The 13 gallon trash bags do fit kind of tight around the rim but I actually like that so they don't slide down into the trash can. Just be careful if you're going to use the 13 gallon size trash bags because when you put them around the rim you can easily rip your trash bag if you don't buy quality trash b

I've had this for a year now. Holds a lot, the lid stays securely closed, prevents my dog from getting into the trash, and just the right size for my small living space. Love the color, too. Rare that you can find a chocolate color in trash cans and it fits my decor perfectly.

PERFECT AND HEAVY ENOUGH

I had to depress the button 3 times before the flip-up lid lazily decided it would give into my promptings and open. I spent less than half the price I paid for this at Walmart for a far superior product. When Walmart wins the match, you know you have failed! Don't buy if you're wanting convenience.

I love this trash can! It's so easy to use. Just touch the edge and it pops right open. I like that it has a lid. I love how the trash bag just locks in, and I don't have to try to stretch it over the top of a trash can that it doesn't seem to fit. The bags fit so easily over the metal bars and stay locked in place until I need to remove them. I could never seem to get the trash bag to stretch to fit over the edges of our old trash can. The lid fits tightly enough to prevent any odors from escaping. And I knew Rubbermaid makes quality products.
