I really loved this. I already love all of the Hunger Games books, but somehow this one brought everything together for me and made me appreciate the whole story even more.I really enjoyed Haymitch as a character and getting to know more of his story. It’s also VERY sad. Like… I knew where this was going and it still hurt. 😭But I was completely invested the whole time. I loved being back in this world and getting another piece of the story. Definitely 5 stars for me.

Wonderful book and was a joy to read, I couldn't put it down! To see how Haymitch and others lives tied into the original series was amazing to see unfold, I cried at the ending. Suzanne is an amazing writer and I hope she has more planned for this series. Can't wait for the movie later this year as well!

My review would be 5 stars but the quality of the book was a little dumpy. Some issues: ink blots on many pages, the print was off center so much so that some of the page numbers were cut off. Just cheaply made overall. If you’re a book collector I would recommend purchasing elsewhere but for the price it’s not bad I guess. Story itself 5/5.
