I got this rice cooker to replace my cheap single button rice cooker. The previous cooker was the 2nd one I had to get because I would constantly have slightly burnt rice at the bottom. I’ve been really happy with this rice cooker so far. The rice comes out fluffy and evenly cooked, and the different cooking settings are easy to use. The keep-warm function is especially convenient when dinner isn’t ready at the same time. It also looks nice on the kitchen counter and doesn’t take up too much space.

I loved the size & the bento box inspired design, but rice was semi raw when cooked on quick mode. A rice cooker that doesn't cook rice, imho, deserves zero stars. The four layer pot is few millimeters thick, the body construction is mainly plastic wrapped in metal. Feels kind of cheap & light. I'm some what disappointed over all with the value because a cheaper unit (around 1/3 of the price) did a better job at making edible rice.

Pretty disappointed in it. Cooks fine but the make the rice really dry. The warmer needs to be a s lower temperature.

This 5.5 cup capacity Toshiba rice cooker is a fairly good little product. It has a few extra settings past just plain old rice, such as oatmeal, and soups. The keep warm feature for up to 24 hours is fantastic. It can't be easier to have hot fresh food all day if you want it. While you can use the quick rice option, for the best rice, use the regular settings. It takes considerably longer, an hour at least, but it is so worth it. I’m really impressed with this Toshiba rice cooker. The rice comes out fluffy, soft, and perfectly cooked every time. The texture is noticeably better than what I used to get with my old rice cooker, and even simple white rice tastes delicious and has a nice aroma. The 3D heating seems to cook the rice very evenly, with no dry or undercooked spots.
