TP-LINK Archer AX11000 WI-FI 6 TRI-Band GIGABIT Gaming Router

This was a replacement for the AX55 TP-Link router that just died on me after about 7 months of usage. So far, I really like how feature packed this router is. Signal strength and speed are phenomenal. I was able to download a 26 GB file in 4 minutes. I was like... holy s&*# Batman! Blazing fast speeds to say the least. Absolute junk. Does not remotely connect to my NBN Fixed Wireless modems (NTDs) in Australia and should be completely banned for purchase in Oz. It simply will not negotiate a connection with the NBN modem unless the GE650 Router is already powered up for a full 5 minutes and then (and ONLY THEN) the NBN modem needs to be power cycled.This means if the modem reboots, loses power, updates or temporarily loses connection. Then the GE650 will simply never, ever reconnect automatically. There is a button in the Tether App to "check again" the connection but it effectively does absolutely nothing.

Purchased this used in Jan 2026 and started having some issues with a port failing in July 2026. I reached out to tp-link support and Glenn was very helpful in helping facilitate a RMA replacement. Hoping all goes well after.

Range and speed is excellent. Worked great for 4 months. Now it reboots randomly a few times a day. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have been using this router for almost a year now and I have been happy with it. I live in an apartment with fiber internet provided by the complex and this made setting up my home network easy! It has the range to provide maximum speed coverage in my entire apartment and I am able to simultaneously use multiple devices without any noticeable change in speed. I connect 4 phones, 4 tablets, 2 TV’s, 4 PC’s and 5 gaming systems. I’m very happy with the performance!

Installed easily, worked immediately. Net speeds are great and coverage is too. Very pleased overall with this router.
