If you are a quilter and have never used a walking foot try one. This one is great whether your quilting, sewing on canvas, leather or other heavy fabric, the walking foot will provide good grip of fabric to avoid slippage, and allowing for a smooth feed for your project.

Nice low shank walking foot. I tried this on my Janome 6500. Fits well. Works well. I have a few walking foots and this one feels better than some. Doesn't feel cheaply made. Plastic that the housing is made of is a bit stronger than some. Metal on foot is smooth and doesn't catch on fingers or fabric. Needle position comes down pretty close to cross bar on foot. Could be different on other machines. Markings on foot are in red. Pretty easy to read. If you are going to use the guide, I would suggest loading it into the foot before you attach the walking foot to the machine. Goes in tightly. Ea
