    Easy installation

    I'm using this for sewing leather projects, 8oz, and on a Singer 44S. Put it on the machine and started sewing. What a difference it makes keeping the materials from creeping sideways and lengthways. I wish I had bought it sooner. After practicing a fair amount and dialing it into my preferences, I haven't had any failures or bad errors required tear downs saving considerable time and leather. $29- Well worth every penny!

    No fabric jamming

    I've sewn for many years and I've always thought a walking foot is a walking foot so I never bought the more pricey Singer product.I was dead wrong!I always had to baby sit my fabric feed at the beginning of seams because fabric would jam /bunch up back behind the foot, on top of not being able to start right at the beginning raw fabric edge.Ever hopeful I bought this brand because I had some silk to be sewn up and...why not try? It's been nothing but smooth sailing with this Singer walking foot! No, I'm not getting paid for this lol.I can place my foot/feed at the very tippy tip of my seam to

    The walking foot is great for thin and stretch fabrics

    While it’s kinda finicky to switch the foot out, it’s a really cool mechanism. I have a heavy duty singer and it works perfectly. There are plenty of videos to show you how to set it up properly, and it’s been a game changer for my projects with organza or jersey knit.

    twisty tie required

    I used a bread tie / twisty tie / little wire coated in plastic to secure the walking foot white arm to the screw that tightens up the needle. This was necessary for things to work properly... this makes switching the foot a pain but it just wouldn't reliably work for me otherwise...Missed stitches were mentioned in a couple reviews and this was attributed to the white walking foot arm not reliably following / maintaining contact with the screw that secures the needle.RAT NEST is what I ended up with.I had snarls of thread like the thread had come off the tension arm.Because I expected failure
