    How did I survive without this?

    I am not great at sewing but I will attempt just about anything. This year I made stockings for my household, and used a crushed velvet with a stretch satin lining. 7 stockings and I was crying after 10 minutes of the 1st one. Research led me to THIS! Oh my goodness... everything I cried about was basically solved. The material did NOT creep away from the machine or the other fabric. There was no struggle with tangles or bunches, my thread has not broken at all, and I finished all 7 stockings.
