Panel size, battery and winter sun
A solar camera is a battery camera with a trickle charger. The panel only needs to put back what the camera used, so a small built-in panel is fine for a quiet side yard and not fine for a busy driveway with the spotlight firing all night. In December a panel in Minnesota gets a third of the sun it gets in June, and the lithium battery holds less below freezing. Northern owners should expect one or two indoor charges a year, and should mount the panel facing south at a steep tilt so snow slides off.
Wi-Fi or 4G LTE, and PTZ or fixed
