This is a birthday gift for my dad. The packaging is beautiful, and I was truly amazed when I opened it! The knives and the knife block look great. We tested the chef’s knife and steak knife with beef and pumpkin, and they performed exceptionally well. The beef sliced very smoothly, and the knife cut through the pumpkin with ease, which really surprised me. The only flaw is that the color of the knife block is a bit dark. It would match my kitchen better if the color were lighter.

Cheap stainless steel already has a rust speckle on it
I really wanted to love these knives. Especially for the price, but they already have a little rust speckle on one of the knives. I hand wash them and hand dry them. I’m guessing it’s a poor quality stainless steel.
