We've had our Modem for 4 years and have been very happy with it. We live in an 1800 square foot multi-level home and it covers everywhere just fine. The furthest corner of the basement provides only 2 bars. Everywhere else is all 3 bars. Just did a speed test on my phone and I get 208.2 Mbps download and 5.67 Mbps upload speeds. We have xfinity cable internet. 75' away from the modem, at the back of my back yard fence I still have 1 bar and I ran a speed test again and got 17.0 Mbps download and 5.09 Mbps upload. XFINITY raised the rental rate for their equipment from $10 to $13 so i decided to just buy my own router. After lots of research I concluded the Arris SBG10 was the best option. I have the 250mbps tier package and so far this modem/router works perfect. The only issue I had was with the setup on an iPhone. This is an excellent replacement for the Comcast Modem/Wi-Fi Router. It is also probably one of, if not the cheapest replacement ones available at 115 bucks. It will save the 13 bucks I was paying to Comcast every month and therefore will pay for itself in 8 months. Bought this for $110 in 2021 and just had to replace it yesterday. It gave me fine service for 4 years, but ultimately, I cannot say I’m fully satisfied with the lifespan. I just think that for spending over $100, it should have lasted longer than it did.
