It replaced 3 components on my network and now I have more than triple the speed!I used to have a 7 MB per second Internet connection as that's all I could afford. I bumped up my account to 75 MB's for an additional $10 per month with Xfinity (Of course we ALL know that $10 will most likely turn out to be more!) So when I bumped it up to 75 MB’s, I still was only getting about 15 MB's per second speeds. This is for the Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8).This is an excellent router/modem gateway. I purchased this for my in-laws to be used with their Time Warner Cable home internet. They had been with AT&T for years and it pained me to see them paying more for dial-up speed than what they could with another provided for a much better service.
