Destroys the tp-link wifi 7 flagship in both range and performance. Range covers three floors, and extends 50-75ft outside my house (tp-link cutoff was anywhere outside the house and the basement). I would have given this a 5 but i was irritated i got a canadian model granted i dont think there was much difference besides with the 5ghz channels but it was probably just principal. While i was using it worked great because i replaced the nighthawk xr-1000 gaming router with this nighthawk. My ISP provided a different brand mesh router set that worked fine with the 1gig Internet over fiber, but I only ever got like 500mb per device. And the ping was pretty bad on the host router. If you are a tech whiz and are under 50 years old setting this router up is E A S Y....but if you are like me and have a minimum tech knowledge it is DIFFICULT. There are NO written instructions. All setup instructions from Netgear came from the Netgear Nighthawk app that must be downloaded. The online setup instructions are at best confusing.
