Router requires a reset every 30 days. I've had this for 3 months and like clockwork, every 30 days I have to turn off power for 2 minutes and then back on. Never had this issue with any router in my life and I've been alive since before there was internet. Would not buy this again. Seller is fine.

I got tis router today.... the setup was the dumbest thing I have ever endured, because they decided to do a wireless set-up on a wireless router via an app on your phone.... and seems nobody on their tech team saw the problem doing that wasted 45 minutes trying just to get the router to lose connection with my phone every time I finished setting the wireless and the set-up will start over and over (cuz obviously you lose the wifi connection once you change the name and password on it)... To make it short... instead of calling Customer Service like I did and wasted 30 minutes trying wirelessly

Tech support from NETGEAR support was great. We registered my router and got it running perfectly

Tried using the Nighthawk app on my phone to set up my router. Didn't work well with my older Android phone so used an ethernet cable between the router and my computer. Had no problems in setting up my router. Took about 25minutes. Have strong signal at each connected device. Much better than my old router which was starting to drop connections.

I had an older router. With my internet service I was supposed to be getting 500 mbs download. I was getting 50. This new router gets me 450-500!

Buy something else! I have had nothing but problems with the router dropping the internet. Customer service has helped to get it back online, but who wants to call them everyday! No one knows what is happening, it could be a number of things

Router works fine, but it’s not an open VPN client. That’s what I was shopping for.
