I can't believe how easy it is not only to make amazing smoothies etc., but best of all, I've been wanting to have more healthy soups etc. for my health (really need to lose some weight!), and this machine makes that SO EASY! Specifically, it makes making soup easy in two ways:(1) I can just throw in relatively big pieces of veggies and whatever and it does it ALL: blends a bit, cooks, then blends again with NO OIL. I LOVE this blender! Heavy duty glass not plastic. It grinds coffee so easily, makes the best soup, fast, just pour into your bowl. Great recipes included and best of all it cleans itself with a touch of a button. Highly recommend!

So far, so good. I found this because I went searching for a blender with a container not made of plastic. This is glass, and yes, it's heavy. It heats, makes soup, blends, grinds and has a neat auto clean feature. The clean function heats and then blends. It gets out mostly clean but not fully. Tthe base has a plug that connects to the main body so you cannot get it wet. That and the weight make the container a little difficult to fully clean. However, it is glass and that is a big plus. I had a Ninja before, and even though some people complain about the noise, this one is actually much quieter than mine was. This is by far the best blender I’ve ever owned. There are so many ways this glass blender can help you with your food prep experiences. This fabulous blender literally heats things up, too.
