9950X3d and 5070ti. I bought this device for gaming and web browsing while I am on vacation and I have been blown away. This thing can almost compete with my home PC build for gaming. It has great cooling by itself, but if you pair it with a "cooling mat" you will not have to worry about thermal throttling at all. Screen quality is amazing. Worked amazing for about 5 days then the screen quit working. It would still work on an external display and I tried all the trouble shooting steps and now it doesn’t work on either display. Got in touch with Asus and was able to send it in for repair and now they say it’s got a crack in the screen. This is my first and probably last Asus product.

The ASUS ROG G16 is an excellent gaming machine that runs almost all games with graphics set to the maximum. Its display offers a beautiful, highly detailed image—though not as intensely bright as some LED screens—and it features two USB 3 ports on one side and two USB-C ports on the other; you might need a USB hub to connect multiple peripherals. I recommend using a laptop cooling stand with fans to help manage temperatures, as the laptop tends to get quite hot during gaming—to the point where using the built-in keyboard can sometimes feel uncomfortable due to the heat.

Great bargain for cpu/gpu combo. Very satisfied with resolution and ram. I wish I could've afforded more storage, but I don't think it'll negatively affect much. Just gotta download one game at a time, but, as a 7 Days and Diablo IV gamer, this laptop does everything right. No overheating issues, the noise is minimal, and it's a very nice looking pc.

Overall this has been a solid purchase. The primary purpose of this laptop is for business in graphic design, and it has no issues running photoshop or other rendering software. It is also used for gaming, and does a solid job. The speed is great, the visuals pop, and it is durable. The reason I took one star off is that it does have a tendency to overheat quickly even if on a laptop stand, so MAKE SURE you buy a laptop stand with a fan. You will absolutely need it.

So far no complaints. I'm running autocad architecture 2026 on it with no issues. Rendering is almost as fast as my desktop, which honestly says a lot. Battery life is maybe 5-6 hours while working which is decent i guess considering software i use

This laptop is the best laptop ive had so far. Only downside it heats easily but thats expected for laptop of this power
