I used to do professional sports photography so I have a very high end Canon DSLR and several (mostly telephoto) lenses, but that setup just isn't all that useful for everyday walking around due to size and weight. I also try to avoid using it in situations where it might get damaged such as fishing in saltwater with a small boat. Not sure why they would sell this camera under a listing that says Canon cameras US. Wouldn't that suggest that it was a USA version. There is no Canon warranty on this product. Just with the third party seller. The good part is that the menus are in English. I guess it is hard to find the USA version. The seller shipped it 2 day Air and the item arrived when suggested.Seems like a very nice camera. Will register with the seller's warranty. Who knows what the warranty covers. I wanted to leave a review for anyone else who might be as hesitant as I was. I took a gamble buying a camera on Amazon but thankfully it panned out. It arrived brand new with all accessories and exactly as advertised. From initial (April ‘26) unboxing/tests it’s working alright. Mine was a model made for Japan market so I don’t have any warranty from Canon but the seller provided 1yr warranty which I feel is a show of good faith. I saw someone say that theirs stopped working after a while so I’ll update this when I’ve used it for some time. All in all, good camera, fair price, light & perfect
