This watch is terrific for what it offers, and at the sale price. With 200 meters water resistance it can go light diving and will handle all surface water activities. The watch has a mineral glass crystal that will resist scratches better than the typical acrylic. It's easy to read. Not humongous like some, but it is larger than many watches. Sturdy construction with a lip to protect the crystal. A 10 year battery. Casio will always be a reliable option. This one is pretty unique and has the usual specs of a Casio. The backlight is alright, but it does its job. I replaced it with an after market stainless steel band and it looks great.

It's a busy, but good-looking watch. 200 m water resistance in a non-G-Shock is rare in my experience, as is the mineral glass (glass) crystal (window?--the part of the watch you look through to see the time), rather than the resin glass (plastic, and easy to scratch) that you normally see in Casios of this price range.It has a high contrast, easy to read screen. The part that looks metal in the picture is stainless steel with a brushed finish facing up and a chrome finish facing sideways. The one thing budget watch collectors should know is that this Casio model is the only watch under $25.00 that comes with a mineral glass screen and not that cheap Acrylic plastic screen that scratches easily. It's also a 200 meter WR watch which is about 2 football fields in depth if you love snorkel diving off the coast. The screen visibility of reading the time and other features is outstanding. I have the Casio W-218 (which is still kicking) and wanted an upgrade. This model has everything I need; full date, more water resistance, mineral glass, and is aesthetically pleasing. The 10 Year Battery is an added bonus. Like most Casio watches this one is easy to set up and use. Fits great on the wrist and functions very well. I plan on buying a replacement strap eventually but I expect no issues from the watch itself.

Bought for my 11 year old son, it’s slightly large on his wrist but wearable (we realize it is a men’s watch). It has a ton of features and made of metal so seems durable. He really loves it and it’s a great value for the price. It was easy to follow the instructions for setting it up.

I actually didn't realise the silvery part of the case was proper metal, just assumed it was painted resin. Once I saw the shine and luster I double checked and it's supposedly steel. Either way something else to keep in mind that the band is a bit rigid and curves aggresively so if you have a wrist bigger than 7.5 inches this might not sit properly. And another thing to keep in mind is how thick it is for a digital quartz watch. But I will say I do like the rather unique display and I just enjoy the symmetry of it. Recommend to someone that wants a round alternative to the AE1200 but wants so
