This is a awesome lil steamer, so far I have made rice in it of course, cake, and polenta. Everything came out great, with the cake setting though, do NOT use the 50 minute timer that it goes to automatically, set your own timer and pull it out at 25 minutes. The recipe makes a very small cake and the 50 minutes is way over cooked. I also doubled the recipe and used my own timer of 35 minutes for the double recipe and it was just right.Next on my list will be oatmeal and also some grits. Just got it yesterday and loooove it! Looks like a little robot and functions the best.Has everything you need and no unnecessary gadgets. Cooker, pot, ladle and measuringcup. That's it. Cooks rice to perfection and has a cancel button, which I like a lot.Small dimensions fits in my cupboard. I will turn Asian eating rice almost every day now.Measure lines on the pot are a little hard to see. Contrasting color would be nice. (Not a deal breaker).Cup is only 3/4 cup in US measurement, so you get a maximum of 3 cups cooked rice. Feeds one to four people.Get this one already! Worth it!

I really can't imagine what my life would be like without this thing. I could never use any other rice cooker again.I've had this for a year now. It has all the features of a $300 rice cooker and it cooks just as well. It even handles my weird recipes for multigrain rice perfectly. I just throw in any multigrain mixture I have, use the brown rice setting, and it's absolutely perfect.The size is perfect. Cleanup takes less than minute. It's just an insane value proposition.
