NIce low price. With that come a couple of flaws. The IR remote signal is weak and the IR receiver in the unit is placed below the the DVD tray. As a result the tray opens easily, however when trying to close with the remote you have to aim the remote below the tray. I wish the standby light could be turned off.The player responds to commands quickly. Picture quality is very good because of the upscaling. Setting menus are easy to understand. When playing the unit is very quiet. I do not have any out of region DVD's so I was unable to check out that feature.All in all this player is well worth

Defective unit.
The unit wouldn't play a disk without stopping & skipping. I checked the disk in other players & it ran fine. It seemed to be a nice unit but had to return it as it was defective.

DVD player worth it for the money
Great product put me back in the game to play DVDs and CDs.As stated it does not play Blu-ray DVDs and it does not play super audio CDs. Nice compact footprint.The reason why I’ve chosen four stars, the original shipment was supposed to be an overnight and somehow got lost had to re-order so I see this as an Amazon shipping and delivery issue.

Tiny DVD player
It's so tiny! And you can plug in a USB to watch MP4 movies as well. I have not tried that yet. But I am very excited to start collecting interesting movies again. This is probably the best way to avoid the subscription services.
