My, I'm so Happy - I'm going to join the band. That's what my new little Dobetter trim router is singing right now. It's a pretty big band - 'bout 14 routers I think. I've done a little bit of routing; I know routers. So when I unboxed this girl -- I plugged her in, turned it on and adjusted the variable speed dial. Impressed, very impressed was I. So impressed I, immediately, made a video so you folks could hear the motor. I originally ordered this router because it looked familiar - I thought it might be a clone of my orange trim router. Made in china. can't give 5 stars due to that fact. However, runs well. I have a Makita at my work, (this one is for home use), and it compares very well. I'm sure the bits that were included won't last long, but I bought it for the router not the bits, so that is not a concern. All in all, pretty good for the cost.

router seems good. no instruction on dust collector install. router flush cut bit, guide bearing, exploded on first job.

Body of router seems well made so far (only used it once) but one of the router bits broke on the first use (video). The screw will no longer hold a thread in the router so of course there is no way to attach the guide ring (just happened to be the one router bit I really needed to use at this point).Not sure of the other bits and/or durability yet so more of a review later.

This little router is well made and durable. Don’t let it’s small size fool you. It is heavy and that weight helps it stay in place while working. The motor runs smoothly and the speed dial works well. The included bit set is a very nice touch and really makes this kit a strong value. The bits come in a sealed box and the entire kit also includes a carry bag. It is hard to fault this router and set. It is certainly suited for most home owners and could even work for pro use.

This router kit is very nice. The routed edges are clean. The included bits provides a good starting point for most of the more popular edges. The router itself has good weight to it for consistent cuts while light enough for ease of maneuverability. This unit will be going onto my second router table that I use for smaller projects. This is one of the best router kits for the price.
