I have had Eufy cameras for a couple of years now outside my house. I saw these cameras at one of my client's homes and he was very enthusiastic about installing them and showed me how they work. The single best thing about Eufy is that their system does not require a subscription to use their App. I believe they are the only company that has stayed true to this program and I can't stand subscriptions that make you renew every year and constantly try to sell you more stuff! This is my first experience with security cameras so I have nothing to compare them to. I purchased 2 of these for my home. The instructions were very clear. I followed them step by step and had no issues. I like the options in the app (ex. turning light on and off, motion detection on and off, 3 options of motion detection..human, vehicle, and all..you probably won't want all because it will notify you every time a bug flies by lol) There's no need for a subscription if you insert an SD card, which is what I did. Other than that, app is good. No missed notifications. LED lights work good. Video quality is clear. Camera looks modern and good. Can easily adjust/ control from app remotely.

Very happy with this purchase. The price was good and the shipment was done quickly. As far as the installation, I for some reason had problems with having the overhead setup level. I had to take it down and use a level to adjust the mounting plate to the junction box. But other then that the setup went well. I especially like that the camera locks onto an object and follows that object until it is out of sight. The older Eufy floodlight camera it replaced had a fixed view so once out of the view the recording stopped. So this new one is a vast improvement!!!

I will start by saying as a whole, I don't regret purchasing and installing this camera/floodlight which I'll just refer to as light or camera moving forward.
