I was looking for a tortilla press which could also cook, specifically for making potato lefse, basically a tortilla with a high added mashed potato content. One of the big issues in making lefse is that the dough tends to be very sticky and hard to roll. It also tends to stick a lot to a regular room temperature tortilla press. I hoped that with cooking and pressing at once on a non-stick surface it might solve several problems at once. This item worked great, and did a good job making tortillas. However, it caught on fire and broke. It also burned our tables. We purchased a second one, hoping it was a random issue, but the second one started melting and got close to catching on fire as well. Would not recommend at all!

Returned this. Did not make my tortillas good at all so I returned it. I’m sure it works good to make other stuff but not what I needed.

An old tortilla maker died on us, so I found this. It doesn’t say it is for tortilla making, but our electric one in the past made tortillas so simple to make I wanted another and they were hard to find.This has been PERFECT! It seems well built, it is heavy (not ridiculously heavy but very sturdy), and easy to clean. We don’t use oil on the heated surface at all, and nothing has stuck yet. We are curious to try other recipes like Roti and Naan, but so far corn and flour tortillas have been perfect on it.Our old one was a bit lighter, so this one surprised us by squishing our dough a little to

I am very disappointed with this roti maker.From the beginning, the rotis turn out thick and uneven, no matter how much I try to adjust the dough or technique. It does not produce soft, thin rotis. I initially wanted to return the product, but I decided to give it more time, hoping it would improve with use. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.Now that the return window has passed, I’m stuck with this one. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable roti maker to make rotis.

Really loving this!! The first two times were not great, but now that I have learnt to make the dough and right temperature, it really works very well and has made my roti making life a lot easier! The dough needs to be loose and sticky, you can pick it up by a small ice cream scoop and roll in dry flour. Please keep the temperature at maximum for the roti to come big and thin, if the temperature is low the come out thick small and rubbery.

Love the size 10” roti maker machine. Easy to use. And it was packed well when it came.

Does not work effectively. Returned the item. Will not buy it again
