FIREGAS Island Mount Range Hood 30 Inch, 700 CFM Black Range Hood

This black glads range hood is stunning over my range. I use the hands free wave constantly. It’s attractive, NOT big and gaudy over my 10 ft kitchen island. I have two pot lights, one on either side of this range and its perfect!

Have used for a couple months. Not the easiest thing to install being I've never installed anything like this. Has good fan power. Lights (4) are great . Only issue is the led light is bright. We use as a night light. Wish there was a way to dim or shut off, then it would be perfect. We bought the 30" wide and does work effectively. Hope if we need parts we can get them. If not still much cheaper than others we looked at. Would buy again.

So far so good, chimney arrived with a bent corner but had to make it work becauseOf timelines.

Unit was received with a slight crease in the metal that was easily corrected by a rawhide hammer and a block of metal. Our contractor had no problems installing it and everything was in working order.My only issue is setting the clock. Instructions are unclear.

Nice looking hood with good LED lighting.•InstallationYou need at least two people to install it. It took about two hours. I recommend going straight to the wood studs because, It is heavy!I don't believe sheetrock anchors can't hold it alone, specially in a humid place like ours, prone to storms. If your roof ever leaks, the hood will fall on your head --what we think.•NoisyThe fan is noisy even at the lowest speed setting. If we do it again, I'll get something that's not so loud. It's a beautiful piece. I love it. I bought a 36-in to put over the 30-in cooktop . I was a little worried about the look at first but with the curved ends you could barely notice the size difference.. a little louder than I would like but the suction works perfectly.

Wasn't too bad to install works well. The lights are a little bright so I bought tinted film and put a light tint on them. They're perfect now

Still hopeful that this going to turn into a great happy story. We bought this and had it sitting in the box because we were gone for a few weeks. After getting around to installing this hood we found out that the inner shaft element was severely bent. I tried to bend it back into rectangular shape to be able to install the hood at all. But of course there is no fixing this for real on this highly reflective stainless surface. Luckily it all but disappeared in the external shaft because our ceiling is not very high.But be aware that all the stainless steel parts are of the absolute minimum str
