I looked at so many range hood, the reason I chose this one was because of the elegance of the black curved glass. It is very heavy duty & the fan is very powerful and does a great job wirh suction, even on the lowest setting, sucks all odors out!. It is not annoyingly loud like others we have had in the past. It was an easy install for my hubby, we chose to do the ventilation through the wall. The chimney part is adorable for different heights. Game changer in our household. Cheaper than what I could get at a local store, great suction, functions as described, great panel for inputs, removes the smoke so we can breath again (using it as a hood with external piping, no idea how the charcoal filters work), looks great in our kitchen, and provides so-so light, but we didn't buy it for that so I still give it 5 stars.

Extremely Disappointed -Not Worth the HassleThis is the worst range hood I’ve ever purchased. It’s incredibly loud, even on the lowest fan setting, you can’t hold a conversation or hear anything else. The product description claiming “low noise” is completely misleading. The touch controls are erratic and unreliable; I have to tap multiple times just to get it to respond. To make matters worse, it randomly turns itself off and on. I spent $250 on professional installation, and I regret every penny. Avoid this product

It has a sleek, clean look that upgraded the kitchen right away, is exactly what I was hoping for in terms of style and finish.Unfortunately, the built-in digital clock is a major flaw that ruins the experience. No matter how carefully I set it to match my iphone’s time, it runs fast. After just one day it’s already 2–3 minutes ahead. By day three it's more than 10 minutes fast. If you can’t install a plug above the duct opening you’re screwed. There is no recess in the back of the hood to place flush against the wall. The cord/plug gets in the way. The kitchen reno took a bit longer so now the return window is closed. Very unfortunate
